COMPOSITION: ANAMICINE – LA® Injectable Solution is a clear, sterile injection solution in colors ranging from light yellow to dark yellow. Each ml contains 200 mg of oxytetracycline dihydrate.
INDICATIONS: It is indicated for the treatment of primary and secondary infections caused by microorganisms in the spectrum of oxytetracycline in cattle and sheep. In cattle and sheep, pneumonia, foot caries, enteritis, infectious keratoconjunctivitis, leptospirosis, anaplasmosis infections, viral infections and secondary bacterial infections caused by susceptible bacteria, as well as metritis and mastitis are used as a support for local treatment.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Unless recommended otherwise by the veterinarian, it is administered intramuscularly (IM) 20 mg/kg bw/day. Injections more than 10 ml in cattle, injections more than 5 ml in sheep should be divided and applied to different sites. Aseptic and antiseptic conditions should be met while making the injection.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD (S): Cattle and sheep should not be slaughtered for human consumption during the treatment or for 28 days following the last treatment. Cows and sheep milk obtained during the treatment and following the last drug administration should not be used for human consumption for 12 days (24 milking). Due to its long withdrawal period in milk, it is not recommended to administer this drug to cows and sheep producing milk for human consumption.
STORAGE INFORMATION AND SHELF-LIFE: Store at room temperature (15-25 ºC). Protect from light.
