COMPOSITION: METRIPRIM® Injectable Solution is a light yellow - yellow colored solution. Each ml contains 200 mg of sulfamethoxazole and 40 mg of trimethoprim.

INDICATIONS: It is used for the treatment of systemic and local infections caused by bacteria sensitive to this combination in cattle, sheep, goats and horses. In this context, respiratory diseases complex, especially livestock enzootic pneumonies, bronchopneumonies, laryngitis, pharyngitis, colienteritis, meningoencephalitis, listeriosis, septicemia, sepsis, wound infections and other soft tissue infections are the mainly use.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: It is administered as intramuscular and slow intravenous injections. Administration routes are ıntramuscular (IM), intravenous (IV) and subcutaneous (SC) injections in cattle and horses; intramuscular (IM) and intravenous (IV) injections in sheep and goats. Intravenous injections should be slow and close to body temperature. Aseptic criteria should be met during administration. Unless advised otherwise by the veterinarian, practical dose is 1 ml Metriprim / 15 kg bw for 3 - 5 days.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD (S): Cattle, sheep and goats should not be slaughtered for human consumption during the treatment or for 14 days following the last treatment. Cow, ewe and goat milk should not be used for human consumption during the treatment or for 5 days (10 milking) following the last treatment.

STORAGE INFORMATION AND SHELF-LIFE: Store at room temperature (15-25 ºC). Protect from light.
